Great as always. April 10th, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous As per usual, Veggie Tales has unleashed another good DVD for children and adults alike. The stories are fresh and innovative (the story of Baby Moses is great!). The silly song will really have you laughing, especially when the Blind lemon smashes Larry's cookie (ok, I'll try not to ruin it entirely). The feature story of Ruth is done very well, also. The importance of looking out for family (even DISTANT family) is laid out very clearly. If you have kids or not, you need to get this episode. Was this review helpful to you? I remeber when i got home and my family showed me the preview on the Duke and The Great Pie War DVD. I couldn't wait till It came out. I still can't wait for it. Pre-order it now. They have watched it serveral times already, and I always hear laugher when they are watching it. Especially fun for Lord of the Rings lovers October 24th, 2006 Reviewer: Nicole from This new Veggie Tales actually follows the Lord of the Rings tale pretty well (for as well as a half hour spoof cartoon can). The silly takes on the names (especially Randalf for some reason) are hilarious for adults, and the typical Veggie Tales humor is enjoyable for everyone. I remember seeing the very first Veggie Tales and thinking that nothing could top it, but they just seem to keep getting better. This is definitely one to add to the collection.
