Plumb is best when . . . August 19th, 2004

Solid Christian rock is becoming easier to find with time, but it has always been difficult to find solid Christian rock headed by a female lead singer. Jennifer Knapp, Superchick, Zoegirl all come to mind...but none matches Plumb for hard-rocking sound. And not only does Plumb have great rockers, like "Crazy," but they switch it up with softer songs like "Phobic" and "Pennyless." Give it a look good female-fronted Christian rock is not in abundance.

Some AWESOME hard rocking vocal chick music. Tiffany is so talented, and gives Plumb such an edge to their music. This album contains their hits. Among my real favorite are Track 1: Here with me; Track 3: Stranded; Track 11: God-shaped Hole. God-shaped Hole made it in the soundtrack of Bruce Almighty what a real amazing song that is. so true in the lyrics. Plumb are just so comforting to listen to. Their music just puts me in awesome moods. These hit tracks are put altogether for all of you out there who love Plumb just the way i do!

I like the the girl-fronted bands, and Plumb has it. From rock to pop and even ballads, their songs are catchy and inspirational. And this album is a compilation of Plumb´s hits. My favorite song is: Stranded.

5 stars for the first 5 tracks . . . August 19th, 2004

Plumb's sophomore release, and follow-up to their self-titled debut, shows a marked progression both musically and lyrically. The album starts on an absolutely amazing note, with standout tracks like "Stranded" and "Late Great Planet Earth." Unfortunately, the album seems to lose some momentum in its last six tracks. A great start, and still a very, very good CD overall. But in the end this is one of those CDs that I listen to specifically for a handful of tracks.

I loved Plumb's debut album, and their second release is also really good. From the powerful first two tracks, "Late Great Planet Earth" and "Stranded", Plumb continue to weave a skilful blend of upbeat ("Here With Me", "Worlds Collide: A Fairy Tale") and introspective songs ("Phobic", "Damaged"). Throughout, the lyrics are thoughtful and meaningful, and once again Tiffany Arbuckle's vocals are perfect for each song.
Highlights: "Late Great Planet Earth", "Here With Me", "Phobic" and "God-Shaped Hole"

Big Improvement July 19th, 2005

Plumbs second release was a big improvement from the last CD. on the self titled album the songs were boring, slow, and just not as catchy as they are on Candycoatedwaterdrops. Some of the best songs on this album are Late Great Planet earth, stranded, Here with Me, Lie Low, Phobic, God-Shaped Hole, and Worlds collide. The title track kinda reverts back to the last album. Over all this is a must have for music lovers.

I liked the song "Damaged" it was on a movie called Broken down Palace, i never knew it was a Christian song, and again I liked another song "stranded" on the move Drive Me Crazy, again didnt know it was a christian song and didnt know it was by the same group, finding this CD was really cool, the music is rock/pop with some very catchy lyrics all with a good message, I would rate at a 4.5, but thats not an option

Plumb's Beautiful Lumps of Coal is amazing. The vocals are unique, but beautiful. The songs are great, and have inspired me with my writing time and time again. This is a great CD to buy for inspiration, just to listen to, or if you're a fan of Plumb.
