You get your money worth!

This CD is one of the best hands down kick the devil in the face Rock you till the last CD! One of the things that I liked best about this CD is the fact that Disciple used every bit of space with 76 min of music on this CD and lots of jams in the middle of the song, not predictable rock! Very inventive and keeps you entertained and uplifted right to the end!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME HARD ROCK MUSIC WITH A FANTASTIC MESSAGE!
November 10, 2005

First of all, Disciple totally rocks! The majority of the album is full of great heavy metal music that hits hard and will totally fill your headbanging needs. The guitar riffs are very original and clever, the drums are very good and fast, and Kevins vocals combine a lot of screaming, talking, and singing to blend with the music seamlessly.
But even moreso, the lyrics of this album truly shine. These guys are very clearly Christians with a purpose, and that purpose is to bring the Word of God to people through their music in ways that are extremely relevant to todays world. Every one of their songs are completely based on scripture; they even have the verses included with their lyrics. I truly love the fact that these guys are totally open and honest about what theyre about; they dont beat around the bush about their faith and to just what their songs are about.
"God of Elijah" is one of the highlights on this album. The song tells the story of Elijah and his showdown with Baal (a false idol) worshippers about just whose God is real (1 Kings 18)..... I really love that story, personally, so its one of the reasons I love this song. But it really is very good!
Also, some of my other favorites are "By God", "Not Rock Stars", "Blow The House Down", "Coal", "You Are Here", "Whiny Britches", "Hate Your Guts" (theyre talking about hating Satan), "Whether They Like It Or Not", "Not Since Breakfast", and pretty much all of the rest of them. This is one of those rare CDs you can just put in and let it go all the way through.... its really that good!
Also, there is a great "power ballad" type of song on here in "Thousand Things" that is really beautiful, but yet still has an edgy rock feel.
All in all, this CD is really just incredible. They put their hearts into it and you can tell they really gave it all they had. I mean there are 20 songs on the album (1 hidden track), thats way more than you normally get on a CD!
If youre looking for some really good (and intense) Christian rock music to listen to, check this one out. They provide a good message in every song as well as some awesome, heavy music. Check it out! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Disciple is an amazing band. They always create biblical lyrics and uplifting songs with great rock music. Also, the songs, Thousand Things and Rich Man are beautiful songs that I often use to sing to praise God.

This Cd is great and a hard rocker. I love to listen to it when im exercising or just want to rock out. my favorites are "not rock stars" which says that we as christians are "Servants of the Most High, Not Rock Stars", and also the title track. Other highlights include Whiny Britches. Solid CD.

disciple keeps it real from the Word and that is what gets me fired up the most in their music. they sing straight from the Bible and with a heavy sound that just gets your feet moving. it is awesome.
