Must Have! July 28, 2004
Reviewer: Marshall Peterson from Alaska

I first saw TFK at Sonshine in Wilmar Minnesota. I was blown away by these guys. After their show I picked up their CD at their booth. I sent about 20 minutes just talking to the band about their beliefs and their music. "Set It Off' is by far one of my most favorite CDs. Puppet and Set It Off are great songs. The have put their own spin on the song Unbelievable. If you like TFK you will love this CD. This is a must for your music collection.

Yeah!! August 11, 2004
Reviewer: Jonathan from Cornwall, Ontario (CANADA)

This CD was one of the first CDs that got me liking Christian rock music! I'm excited that they are rereleasing this CD, because it is now out of print, and it will give a chance to all those who don't have it already to purchase it!! It's too bad that I'm gonna have to spend some money to get another copy, but hey! TFK is worth it :D This CD will feature a brand new song, Everyone Like Me, and all the old songs that were on the first release of Set It Off are now remixed and remastered to make them sound much better (like Pillar's "Fireproof" rerelease)!

I bought this when it first came out July 29, 2004
Reviewer: Tim Bradshaw from Gboro

In the graffiti laden cover and it is a very replayable cd and it is to one of my favorite cds. Their rendition of unbelievable is so awesome as was stated in a previous review. This cd is what hooked me on these guys and made me want to buy phenomenon. The song lift it is a great change in the cd's sound. The song small town is great as well the lyrics are encapturing.

The NEW CD August 5, 2004
Reviewer: Matt from KC

I have Phenomonon and absolutely love it! I really am looking forward to the "prequel" from TFK. I also liked there version of "unbelievable". I heard them sing it live last year on the "Sea of Faces Tour" with Kutless. What a show! TFK was off the hook!

Why re-release? August 11, 2004
Reviewer: Austin from USA

I question why they are putting out another, but in musical terms it is a great cd. This was the first rap cd I ever got and I love it. Set it off is one of the best songs ever, and I truly love their rap/rock sound.

A classic original . . . rereleased! August 19, 2004
Reviewer: Anonymous from PA

I must admit – I have not heard the remixed/remastered version yet. I have only heard the original release, and even that was a friend's copy. I look forward to this release eagerly. No one else in the Christian music industry so ably blends metal, rap, and rock as Thousand Foot Krutch. "Puppet" is an awesome rock song, easy lyrics, deeper meaning. And "Lift It Up" (also "Small Town") is truly an inspiration, especially from a group of guys who specialize in harder, edgier music.

2 thumbs up! August 21, 2004
Reviewer: Laura from Illinois, USA

I bought TFK's Phenomenon cd earlier this year and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of them before. I highly recommend the Phenomenon cd and this one too. I will be buying this cd too!

They leave the microphone smokin September 2, 2004
Reviewer: Laura from Philadelphia

My first experience with TFK was live on the tour for this CD. They rocked, so I bought this CD. While this group is better live than recorded, the album still rocks. They have a crunchy, energized sound that is like no other Christian band at this point in time. Their lead singer sings, but more often he does that yelling rap thing... and he does it REALLY well. Their rendition of UNBELIEVABLE has to be my favorite track on the album, but SET IT OFF is a close second.

Rocks This September 4, 2004
Reviewer: from DE

This is the CD (remastered) that started it all. For any true TFK fan this is a must (even if u have old version like me). The sound "When In Doubt" is the perfect song for when you're down. "Lift It" is just an incredible, humble, on-your-knees to God song that can put a lot in perspective. And of course, there are songs like "Puppet" and "Supafly" that just rock the house. Definite recommendation for the guys who really bring it!
