The Cross Movement's fifth album Higher Definition calls attention to God's ability to broadcast clear pictures of the issues of life and correct our distorted vision. While redirecting our focus from the plasma screen to the plasma of Christ screened by the Father, CM urges all to receive God's live feed for a higher definition of life.
Higher Definition broadcasts lyrical, musical, and biblical songs that reach out and touch the listener. This album compels us to view our relationships, our lives, and ourselves in the crystal clarity that only comes from Christ in Higher Definition.

HD: True Hip-Hop

I think this is the most excited I've ever been about an upcoming release! Cross Movement keeps it ALL about Christ and that's the number 1 reason you should buy this cd. The number 2 reason is that their rapping skills and beats rival anyone in the world. Only 1 song off this cd has been made available to the public so far... THE BRIDGE. Being a member of the hip-hop culture and having some knowledge of what good hip-hop (both rap skill and beats) is, I can say that this song rivals ANY SONG FROM ANY ARTIST... but here's the best part: They lyrics are incredable! People don't realize how easy it is to rap when you're not really saying anything and how difficult it is to rap with some Theological meaning... CM pulls it off in style! The CM camp is really blowing up! Don't miss this cd... the top album of 2004 (of all and any genre)!
P.S. The cover is dope too.

When I first heard CM’s "House of Rep." CD, I was like, these guys are wack. Then I peep the lyrics and those hard hitting, head bobbin' beats. I'm hooked like a hungry big mouth bass!! And now they put out this CD "Higher Definition". Oh MY Goodness!! Loving it!!! They keep taking Holy hip hop to another level. This CD is a must if you’re a Cross Movement fan. Makes me want to upgrade my car stereo so every one can bang to this!!

Movin

There are few Christian artists whose music I consistently follow and support. Even fewer that I support every ministry (project) on a regular basis. But Cross Movement is one of them. This album is one that I would suggest for all people, whether you're young (and searching for some music to put in place of secular rap) or old (attempting to open your mind to new forms of worship). To me the 2 most notable tracks are Questions (by Tru-Life) providing answers to such questions as "Why am I here" and "Does God hate me". The other one is called My Life Cypha. Each artist gives their testimony and how God saved them. Each track is jammed with life-changing Word wrapped in music that demands you to bob your head or sing the Hook (WE GON LIVE THIS LIFE, WE GON LIVE IT RIGHT! NOT JUST WALK IT BUT TALK IT CAUSE WE GON LIVE FOR CHRIST). With tracks like these and more, it truly appears that The Cross Movement is really in the business of movin' the Cross!

Back At It

Cross Movement is back at it with another classic to add to the collection. Cross Movement is the greatest hip hop group. These guys lyrics are on another level. "Big Words" and "Hip Hopcracy" expresses the negative image secular artists have put on hip hop. "Jerseys and Fitteds" displays the materialism that has overcome hip hop. "Card Shark" is a clever song that needs to be heard. The last track which consists of three bonus songs brings a great close to a great album. "My Life Cypha" is new school hip hop, "The Bridge" is old school hip hop, and "Lights, Camera, Action" is pure hip hop by the Ambassador. I recommend this album to all hip hop fans.

They Do it Again

I have always considered The Cross Movement among the greatest rappers in the world. Their music beats out many, many other christian rappers because their music is thoroughly saturated with Christ as the message. Alot of other "Christian rappers" are not representing as they should be and the message of a saviour is hidden or a passing line, but the CM are always Christ first followed by hip-hop not the other way around. Plus they're still bringing it harder than alot of secular rappers out there. This is especially gratifying for christians who know the WORD. You can appreciate how accurate their theology is. To put it simply, they rap in harmony with scripture.
