On November 2, Sparrow Records will re-issue the first three albums from breakthrough rock act Switchfoot ("Meant To Live") as one 3-CD set, giving millions of the band's new MTV and mainstream radio fans quick, affordable access to a hit-filled catalog that dates back to 1997.
The set compiles all Switchfoot full-length recordings made prior to the current platinum selling smash, THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN. They include:
THE LEGEND OF CHIN (1997)
NEW WAY TO BE HUMAN (1999)
LEARNING TO BREATHE (2000).
Balancing surfer coolness, timeless melody, spiritual depth, and rock intuition, each CD was universally acclaimed upon initial release. Among the early energetic, unconventional hits featured here are "Chem 6A,""Might Have Ben Hur,""New Way To Be Human,""You Already Take Me There,"and the first recording of "I Dare You To Move"which was later re-done for THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN.
In all, the Switchfoot 3-CD set, in stores everywhere November 2, gathers three full-length recordings, original artwork, 32 songs, and nearly two hours of music.

Early Switchfoot

I was a fan of Switchfoot long before they hit the mainstream. I bought Legend a year after it came out and gobbled up their next two cds. "The Legend" is a good cd, "New Way" is just great, and "Learning" is perhaps one of my favorite cds of all time. I still love their lyrics as much as their unique music.

This is awesome. I love switchfoot and I can't wait to own all four of their albums. I bought Beautiful Letdown and I've heard the others... Now this is a good deal. 3 albums for this price... You can't get them anywhere cheaper.. That makes it all the better.. Switchfoot has a mass appeal and I love them!

Each of the 32 songs on this amazing 3-CD set is really deep. I love the songs Learning to Breathe and New Way to Be Human. However, I Dare You to Move takes the cake (in my opinion). The set is so great. To everyone who reads this, I dare you to buy this 3-Switchfoot CD set!!

I just want to tell you that these cds are a must have. Switchfoot not only wrote an awesome album in 'The beautiful letdown' but their first three albums are just as good. I have all of them and I love the fact that you can pop the cds in and let them play through because every track is awesome. Might I add that it took me two years to find 'The legend of chin' cd, but it was well worth it.

It is definately hard to pass up this deal for those who have only bought The Beautiful Letdown. There first three albums are all excellent and worth it to buy at regular price. But for less $6 each, don't pass this up while it's available.

I always get upset when the mainstream crowd says that The Beautiful Letdown is their debut CD when they have 3 others! In my opinion, Learning to Breathe is the best- so I'm excited that those who are new Switchfoot Fans will get to hear it. And this is a great price too! Everyone should check this out!

If you have never heard Switchfoot before, this is an awesome set of cds and the price is so CHEAP! Switchfoot has great songs that they came out with on their first cd, "Ode to Chin," Chem 6a and Concrete girl are my favorites!! The song new way to be human rocks. If you like good musid, this set if definitely for you. This group of guys are great musicians! Enjoy the early years!!!!!!!!!!!!
