KJ-52 is a rare find in today's Christian hip hop world. A Caucasian American MC who has risen to prominence in a largely black arena, he is at once a respectful student of the art form and a genuine hip hop innovator, stretching the boundaries of both its sound and shape. And regardless of where he's working- from churches and huge Christian festivals to the heart of the hip hop club scene, KJ can hold his own, with ease, against the best rappers in the business. Indeed, there's nothing that smacks of the poseur in KJ; rather, everything about his work screams "the real deal."

OK, hands up. Who else can't wait for KJ's latest offering. Just check out his last few discs-- From Collaborations to Soul Purpose and Peace of Mind, then "It's pronounced five-two"-- his music just keep getting better and better. With each passing album, KJ's lyrics stay positive and Christ-centered, and his beats and melodies get catchier and more creative. In my opinion, KJ is one of the top Christian performers today, and I'm so confident in his ability to deliver to goods, that I'm recommending this album 3 months before release! Is it January yet?!

Just got through listening to the cd and I have to say that I am impressed with the new stuff that KJ put out. Working in radio you hear all sorts of different stuff, but this is really good. Lots of guest artists and good diversity in styles for each song.

I'm with a radio station. So I have had the chance to receive his Behind The Musik (a boy named Jonah) cd... it's awesome. The song For the ladies..gives a message to the girls that God made them beautiful and that you shouldn't be ashamed to live a pure life. Never look away talks about the thief who accepted Jesus as they where being crucified... This Cd will reach many youth... Parents give this to your teen.

Dude, KJ is by far way cooler than anything else! I'm not a huge rap fan, but when I first heard 'It's Pronounced Five Two', I was like, 'man, this is some of the best music I've ever heard!' His first two albums have some cool songs as well, and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for this one. Rock On, KJster!!!

Behind The Musik-Real Hip Hop

KJ-52's newest album could be his best album yet. "Are You Real?" featuring Jon Micah Sumrall (of Kutless) is one of the best rap/rock records I ever heard. The collaboration with Jeremy Camp on "Right Here" is very inspirational. Rebecca St. James blesses the album with her beautiful voice on "God." "Life After Death" helps open up your eyes about how you live your daily life. "Cry No More" is very uplifting and emotional. "Behind the Musik" is a hot track, where KJ gives a testimony about his life. KJ is always funny with a serious message and that's "there's only one love, one god, and only one way." Keep Him first and everything else will fall into place.

Five Tweezie gets better and better.....

KJ-52 has grown so much since his 7th Avenue release and each CD since then has gotten better and better. It's obvious that his relationship with Christ has gone deeper as well with so many heart grabbing lyrics. I think this is his best release to date and continue to wear it out in my car stereo. I love the songs with Kutless, Rebecca St James and Jeremy Camp. Each was done superbly and the old school songs are awesome as well. Thanks KJ for sharing your gift with all of us!!
