The Aftermath is coming! Norma Jean are no strangers to suspense. In fact, it seems the band almost thrives on creating anticipation for their admiring fans. Whether it be the flurry of eagerness that divulges the crowd as their strobed show begins, or the way they can hold a captivated audience in the midst of a 15-minute song, Norma Jean have a gift for creating an anxious buzz. And that buzz has never been bigger as they prepare for their follow up release to 2002's 'Bless The Martyr and Kiss the Child.? Produced by Matt Bayles (Isis, Botch), the songs are heavier, the vocals darker, and you?d better believe the buzz is big!- The Aftermath is Coming!

Okay, if nobody agrees with me thats okay. But norma jean totally rocks out for this album. The new lead singer definately didnt change the progress of the band. In fact, i think that it improved the band, by aquiring an experienced singer, i think from Living Sacrifice... none the less... the things in this CD are crazy... never expected... its like going through a maze that never leads you back to where you started, it just keeps going from start to end... some of the pieces of this Album gives me goosebumps and singing along makes my throat tingle... Definate plus, if you like something different... :) go to their web site too, it's probably the coolest and most artistic band i know... and it shows... :) This band makes Zao sound soft... haha

Man when I saw this album for sale I HAD to buy it - with only hearing Face:face by Norma Jean before I knew it was HARD stuff!! But I got a tad discouraged when I found out they switched vocalists....until I got to hear the songs on this album in-person, I couldn't ask for a better vocalist!!!! These guys are soooooooooo heavy and aggressive, they never slow down and never seem to be "taking a breather" in between lines, I couldn't be happier with this album!!!
Also; if you like twisted and somewhat graphic images be sure to check out the many pics in the CD booklet :D
