"Live in Seattle"

I already knew from "Simply Nothing" that Shawn McDonald was talented, but this album proves it even further. I've never seen him live in concert, so this might be the closest thing I get for a while. He's got a great voice! The songs from "Simply Nothing" are really strong live. I love the acoustic guitar, and Shawn really shows off his vocal skills. His voice is so strong, and he does a little scatting on "Take My Hand", which totally adds to the song! I'm also glad that "Without You" was on this album. It's an older song of Shawn's, but it's so good. The new songs get me really excited for his upcoming studio album! "Perfectly Done" is very powerful! All that being said, I think that this album is a great addition to "Simply Nothing". I can't wait for the next studio album from Shawn!

Shawn McDonald is one of my favorite artists right now. This is an awesome cd with awesome songs. I believe Shawn McDonald should win the Dove Award for Best Male Vocalist in 2006.

Dude, if there was an option for 10, that would so be it. This cd is simply awesome. You can just sense God through these songs. They will seriously move you. The first time I listened to it, I just couldn't stop. Its the only cd that I have ever played this much. I think I have all the lyrics down now. But man. Shawn McDonald has a huge annointing or something. Both cds are great. I strongly strongly recommend both!!! I have been waiting to get both cds, and now that I have them, I am blown away. Thanks Shawn! The songs have spoke to me in so many ways. They also somewhat spoke what was in my heart. Wow! There really aren't enough words to explain how awesome this stuff is! So awesome that it leaves me speechless. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Keep rockin for God! Or strumming!! These wont be a mistake to buy.

This guy is like no one else in Christian music today. I loved Simply Nothing, so I had to get this right when it came out, and I wasn't dissappointed. He takes time in between some of his songs to tell his story, which is very compelling, but the music itself is unbelieveable

Shawn Mcdonald Live in Seattle is the most amazing CD I have heard. Shawn has a soothing voice that I love! He mixes Christian lyrics and acoustic guitar to create his style! I like to compare his sound to John Mayer! He is amazing on this CD!

Shawn McDonald's first album "Simply Nothing" is phenomenal, but it is this live version of his songs that truly brings them to life. McDonald's voice soars over the stripped down acoustic instrumentation and his message is even more heartfelt than in the studio version of the same songs. My personal favorites are the poignant "Hold On" and his fabulous cover of "Over The Rainbow." This is truly a wonderful album for both Christian music fans and secular music fans.

i had never heard of shawn mcdonald before i bought this cd, i was just in the music store and i saw it and for some reason it appealed to me so i bought it. i dont do that very often but this cd is amazing!!! the best cd i own no doubt. my favorite song is #3 all i need. if u dont own order it right now!!!!

Shawn has great music to listen to on an album, but to hear him live is even better. Hes a great person to talk to and his story is awesome and this live album lets you hear more of the passion in his music and his life. If you like Simply Nothing, youd better get this one too!

Shawn McDonald is a very talented man. I just love the unique sound and love the acoustic guitar. I will certainley being adding him to my music collection. I never knew who sang the song, "Take my Hand" and have always liked it now I know.
