To be honest with you this CD is not really all that good!
They take a few good songs that are really good like
Grits "IF I" and 4th Ave. Jones "fabuoulous Dramatics" and but then up on there put none of the other songs could really make you dance!
Love"- by DjMAJ is good
and I can Call on YOu- by Kj52 with donnie lewis is great
and
The exclusive "Zoom" featuring ahmad jones, and molly jenson!
is cool
The rest of the songs didn't need to be a feature!
There are some very good artists on the Cd just not the best songs to represent that artist!

With artists such as TobyMac, GRITS, KJ-52, and John Reuben. This is a sure-fire hit. These artists spread the love of God through their rhymes, and this record will not disappoint. Plus, it is a DVD also... awesome!!!

The "Hip Hope Hits" CDs continue with the second in the annual series, "Hip Hope Hits 2006". At first glance, this appears to be just another thrown-together combination of random music from big-name Christian rap artists and some peculiars and some newbies to the genre. However, upon listening to the CD, I find that (just as with "Hip Hope Hits 2005" last year) that even someone like me, who has just about every album represented on this album and could put together my own mix, this is a very well put together album. It is not a jumbled sound, but a well-represented representation of Christian rap, my favorite genre of music. This CD is remarkable in that it doesn't even pull the best tracks from the said albums but still manages to pull off a fantastic Hip-Hop/Rap album, just as its predecessor did last year. I highly recommend this album and if you want more, BUY THE ALBUMS REPRESENTED! Even if you're not a big hip-hop fan, I think you will enjoy the flows and the beats on this album. Being a Christian rapper myself, I look forward to more of the Hip Hope series anxiously.

This Cd really disappointed me compared to how great, Hip Hope 2005 was there wa some good songs like Grits"If I", Verbs "New Day" and DJ Maj "Love" but overall it is a decent cd. I think that they put some good artists but they did not pick there best songs. This is a decent introduction to christian Hip-Hop if you never heard it before. There is some hope that is just going to get better becuase new artists like Liquid do shine on the album.
