Hailing from San Ysidro, CA. P.O.D. started working out their distinctive mix of heavy rock, punk, hip-hop, and reggae in the early '90s, sharing stages with Green Day and other Calpunk luminaries. Despite their success, though, they remain loyal to their fanbase and still tour incessantly.

Disappointed with the push back of Testify and salivating for more great P.O.D. music I grabbed up The Warriors EP Vol. 2 with great anticipation the day it came out. One listen to this wonderful gift from P.O.D. is not enough. Much like the early 90s commercial for Lays potato chips went, "Betcha cant eat just one" I couldnt just listen to it once. The EP blasts out of the gates with "If It Wasnt for You" which features elements not found since Satellite and straightforward lyrics about Jesus not heard since Foundamental Elements of Southtown. P.O.D. makes wonderful return to the things that helped them become a platinum selling rock band. The EP also includes a full reggae song that at first seems out of place, but yet is a wonderful break from the norm. The EP wraps up with two live tracks from Cornerstone 2004 that leave you begging them to come to your town. This EP rocks!!!
