Product Description

Once the listener gets beyond the pile-driving guitar work and hooky lyrics, at the core of Kutless¹ new release, ³Hearts of the Innocent², is an anthem calling on a generation of believers to be strong! The band and producer Aaron Sprinkle¹s (Strong Tower, Sea of Faces) vision for this release was make a harder record than the band¹s first three, while still maintaining the bands signature sound that both RADIO (multiple CHR/ROCK/ AC #1 singles) and their core fan (over half a million units) have fallen in love with for the past three years. Whether creating a ROCK/PRAISE release (Strong Tower, 2005), a POP/POCK release (Sea Of Faces, 2004), or EDGER/ROCK release (Kutless, 2002 & Hearts Of The Innocent, 2006), Kutless message and music has be a consistent and bold blast thru the static in an ever changing music scene.

Heavy, lyrically deep, musically complex: Kutless March 21, 2006
Reviewer: Patrick from Terre Haute, IN

Ill start off by simply saying that this album just blew me away! It is probably their heaviest album yet (even moreso than their first self-titled album) as they really rock out pretty much throughout the entire album. "Shut Me Out," "Hearts of the Innocent," "Beyond the Surface," and "Million Dollar Man" are just a few of them. There are some great "slower", but still awesome, ones on here in "Smile" and "Promise of a Lifetime" as well.

The powerful guitar riffs are fresh (there are even a few solos on this one), and Jeff and Daves added drums and bass are really great. Also, Jon Micahs vocals are just about perfect (as they always have been) and they blend seamlessly with the music.

Lyrically, the album is spectacular. The words are really deep and really penetrated my heart. They talk about subjects such as the tragedy children endure in divorce, perseverance in spreading the truth of Christ even when people put you down, and keeping our hope in Christs promise, just to name a few.

"Hearts of the Innocent" is probably Kutless best album yet. Im a huge Kutless fan, so I may be a little biased. But they seriously blew me away with this one! Check it out! If you like good hard rock music with an inpirational message, you wont be disappointed in the least...

I know this cd will be awesome. Their music is some of the best out there. There music just keeps getting better and better. I got the worship album - Strong Tower - and was so impressed. I know I will love this one too. There music and lyrics are just so awesome and helps you stand strong for God in this generation.

HURRY! HURRY! HURRY! March 19, 2006
Reviewer: Damaris from Seattle, WA

If I were you, I would definitely buy this record...soon! I just saw Kutless last night and they perfprmed 3 of the new songs from this record. Can I just say that I LOVED THEM ALL!! For all you long-time fans (like myself), I guarantee you that "Hearts Of The Innocent" goes back to the original Kutless sound. I am truly excited to hear the entire album, and John Micah really tackles some pretty deep issues that Christians today are facing...this album would be an awesome gift to give to someone who wants to rock out, but also feel the love of God through music!

Worst CD yet March 22, 2006
Reviewer: Rick from Texas

This cd lacks the punch I expected. They were saying that this would be their best CD yet, and it definately falls short. While the first three songs, Somewhere in the Sky, and Legacy were all pretty good rock songs they all sounded VERY similar. I was also expecting this album to be a bit harder (which is what they said) and i would say its actually their softest cd yet--not including Strong Tower. Also some songs just dont sound good, like "Winds of Change". I like Kutless, but their first two albums were definately their best, this one however lacks musical creativity, and excitement. Its not a bad album, they still have good vocals, guitars, and lyrics, its just not their best.

Best effort yet! March 22, 2006
Reviewer: Chris from Tennessee

Kutless has returned with their fourth studio project. This band has done some amazing work this time around with "Hearts Of The Innocent". Mixing both the power/heaviness of their self-titled debut and the ambient sounds of "Sea Of Faces", Kutless has a sure fire hit on their hands that will please the ears of all of their fans. This is a must have CD if you are a fan of the whole modern rock scene.

AWESOME! March 24, 2006
Reviewer: Lauren from USA

I can not find the words to describe this cd. It is just plain awesome!! The rifts and chords are great and the lyrics are even better than previous cds. Jon Micah voice remains strong and gets better each album. The band did a great job! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Smile is a great song as well as Shut Me Out and Promise of a Lifetime. Although a geniune rock cd which reminds me of Staind and Seether, it does have a little something for everybody. The first couple of songs have great hard guitar parts, but other songs are not quite as in your face. Again, I LOVE IT!

Another Great One! March 29, 2006
Reviewer: Anonymous from

An awesome cd. Not their best but still awesome. It is very impressive. They touch up on a lot of issues that our generation is going through. The tone is great. It is very aggressive in the sense they are trying to make a point across and believe me it is working. We need a lot more artists to be like this now a days. A very respectable band, and can

I just got this cd and I think its awesome!
The first three songs are very motivating and rocky.
The song, "Beyond the Surface" is still stuck in my head, lol.
A Must-Consider To Have CD.

Blown Away May 1, 2006
Reviewer: Charlotte from KY

I bought this album knowing that Kutless is an amazing mission from God.... and of course that they are wonderful musicians but this album blew me away! They continue to surprise me and their sound and lyrics continue to get better with each album even when you think there is no better place for them to go they reach beyond the stars.
