For singer-songwriter Mat Kearney Nothing Left To Lose is about how the echoes of your past can guide you through what lies ahead. On the title-track of his major-label debut, Kearney retraces the long road that brought him from his hometown in Eugene, OR to his adopted home in Nashville, Tennessee. Written to make sense of his life, Nothing Left To Lose looks at the past to see the future.

Now it does not look like too many people know who Matt Kearny is, but just take a listen to the words and sounds he has produced and you will be hooked. This CD has nearly all the songs from his previous release bullet, but with the added tracks, it is so worth it.
Check it out, get hooked.

Simply Amazing...

This is a great CD, only with a few criticisms. Kearney often repeats the musical structure and style from track to track, and a few songs were re-done from his 1st album "Bullet", 2004. Over all the CD is worth the buy, though.
