Following up an amazingly successful year with the launch of her debut album, Genuine, which earned her four Dove nominations, three #1 radio singles, tours with Plus One and mainstream pop sensation Destiny's Child plus video airplay on Zoogdisney and the Oxygen Network, Stacie Orrico gears up for the holiday season with a new five song Christmas album. Stacie spices up six of her traditional holiday favorites including "What Child Is This"and "White Christmas"with her pop-urban flare and adds in a brand new Christmas tune entitled "Christmas Wish."

not her best work

Although her voice is beautiful in this album, six songs is just not enough! I didn't enjoy her rendition of What Child Is This? and O Come All Ye Faithful. I do enjoy thoroughly her own Christmas songs though, Love Came Down and Christmas Wish. Both well written and well sung. I think this needs to have at least 11 songs on it to be considered a real Christmas album! Jeeze, she released this in Japan with 8 songs, why not release it again in America!

a couple of the songs on here are really great - christmas wish and when love came down. im not really into some of her renditions of the classic christmas songs, and i wish she had added a few more original songs!

Stacie's 6 song EP is a different take on classic songs, plus a few others. This album will definitely be a Christmas favorite- Stacie's voice is amazing and the songs are catchy and still share the meaning of Christmas. This is a Christmas must-have!

As Christmas comes around you need great Christmas music, and what better than Stacie Orrico. If you don't really think this is a good album because it only has six songs, well you're wrong. I'd rather have six stand out songs than a Christmas album with twelve average songs anyday.

My only complaint on this album is that it was just too too short! There should have been at least five more songs in this album. But it was very good -- the right songs were chosen to be on this short little thing :)
I like her rendition of What Child Is This -- a type of upbeat version. Makes me wanna dance. I also like the less-known song Love Came Down, and the original song of Christmas Wish (the CD's title). White Christmas is an okay song in and of itself, but hearing Stacie singing the song with her awesome voice makes it a lot better than the original in my opinion.
O Holy Night and O Come All Ye Faithful are also good -- and her renditions are great!
Good job, Stacie!
