An Excellent Choice September 7, 2004
Reviewer: Christopher from Honolulu, HI

I found this CD in the worldly Rap section of my local music store, but then I remembered hearing the name "GRITS" in Christian mags and I decided to give it a shot. IT IS OFF THE HOOK! Now I know better than then that most everything that carries the GRITS label is sure to rock your world! It's like a seal of approval! Songs like Tennessee are not really my liking, but give a little "Here We Go" any day! I think these guys are off the hook, and they have been for some time. These guys are veterans... and if anyone in Christian Hip-Hop knows what they are doing, these guys do. Buy it!

GRITS RULES!!! October 10, 2004
Reviewer: Ashley Champion from Toronto, Canada

I love this cd! It's got awesome rap songs and best of all they're Christian raps, so you don't get any swearing or bad language in the raps like most of them out there. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes rap out there!

This is a great value! July 17, 2004
Reviewer: David from OKC

This cd may be old now, but it is the best Grits cd (in my opinion) It is packed full with 17 tracks! No song get's boring, Tennesse bwoys is a song used by the Tennesse Titan cheerleaders so you know it must be good, they also have song like that and make room, on "pimp my ride" You will not find a better hip hop/rap cd out there! Trust me you will not be dissapointed!

Awesome CD!!!!!!!!!!! July 29, 2004
Reviewer: Zach from MS

The third CD from Bonifide(Teron Carter) and Coffee(Stacy Jones) this one is in my opinion, the best. This is the CD with "Ooh Ahh" and "Here We Go", which I believe to be some of the best songs written by Grits. If you like Hip Hop/R&B, YOU NEED THIS CD!!!!!!!!! And don't forget Dichotomy A; out now. Dichotomy B; November 2
BUY THIS CD!!!!!!!!!!!

Great August 13, 2004

This is old now, but it's timeless. The songs are awesome and I think this is the best one Grits have ever put out...at least so far. I really enjoyed this CD.

"When Grits is Hot They Bubble!" August 15, 2004
Reviewer: Ray from Goose Creek, SC

If rap is your genre of choice then this album is for you. Songs like "Ooh Ahh" and "Here We Go" get this one started right. "Believe"
is also a great one with Jennifer Knapp. For Grits fan a remix album of this has been put out by Audiogoat.com called "The Art of Transformation" that is really a great alternative to "Translation". "Transformation" also has a Mega Mix at the end which features a song from the new "Dichotomy A" album called "Hittin'
Curves."
These are both excellent albums that play well with each other.

AMAZING!! September 2, 2004
Reviewer: Christopher from Honolulu, HI

Aloha! The group that was there at the beginning is still here, and still going strong (and getting stronger!)! The duo just don't seem to want to stop- they just keep uping their quality with every release! You will definitely love this CD from front to back... maybe not every track but there isn't much to hate on this album! GRITS is definitely becoming the base of a Christian Hip-Hop diet.

JUST GET UP! September 14, 2004
Reviewer: Jessica from Blacksburg, VA

GRITS truly broke through with this album, mixing in some modern hio-hop hooks and changing up beats to a more dirty south style (this is a hip hop beat style--it's not implying profanity or anything like that--thought i'd clarify). For the updated beats, the lyrics are sacrificed. All my friends love this CD too--it's contagious! You cannot deny that God is moving in these men's lives and that He is center of their hearts. Get this CD!!!
