Great CD! July 15, 2004
Reviewer: Jonathan Mercier from Cornwall

Whether or not the members of Lifehouse have their hearts at the right place, it is clear that this CD is amazing, and contains lyrics that can uplift Christians and non-Christians alike... The music is amazing, and the lyrics, though sometimes obscure, are great as well.... The best songs are Sick Cycle Carousel, Unknown, Somewhere In Between and the AMAZING worship song (yes, this song was written for the singers worship team at youth group), Everything.

This CD is much better than their second release, Stanley Climbfall, in my opinion... So you might wanna grab this CD instead......

Jars of Clay from the 70 July 29, 2004
Reviewer: Clayton from Sandwich IL

My friend showed me this cd at camp. It didn't seem so great at first but after listening to it for awhile I've gotten really attached to it. I listen to Jars of Clay and I'd say that the lyrics are very similar. Not too straight out with their message but very poetic. I love just clearing my mind with their music. It's a lot to think about but relaxing at the same time. My only problem with it is the lack of outright Christianity in their lyrics, but I respect them for their expanding into secular music. Like Switchfoot, they are clearly Christian but not violently as some bands are. Great cd!

AMAZING CD November 6, 2004
Reviewer: Joel from West Vancouver, BC, Canada

Unlike the other reviewers, I was not aware that this was the place to discuss the hearts of the musicians. Their music is awesome and they are still my favourite band...a lot of people seem to have forgetten about these guys, but they really are a special talent. Jason's songwriting ability is excellent and "Everything" is my favourite song and it has been for a few years now. Its a song that always gets to me. Only One is another quality track that is amazing. I'd say this CD is my all time favourite CD, it is one that I will proud show off to my grandkids in the future. =)

More of this please July 20, 2004
Reviewer: Brent from USA

I love discovering that a group I didn't know were Christians turn out to be. My first response was 'No way, they're too good to be Christian.' Their lyrics aren't blatant by any means, but the heart and spirit is there and the songs are fantastic. It's a listen-all-the-way-through album with only one or two skips necessary. Their next album has some great songs, but doesn't hold together quite as well as a whole package. I'd put this in the top 10 best Christian albums ever. It's not preachy, it's not cheesy, it's just great music with the right heart.

awesome, to say the least November 19, 2004
Reviewer: Shannon from Phoenix, AZ

This cd is really great! Lifehouse is energetic, uplifting, and downright awesome! I love this cd and I listen to it constantly. I would definitely agree that this is a better album than their newest one "Stanley Climbfall." Great songs on this cd are: Everything, Hanging by a moment, sick cycle carousel, and Somewhere Else in Between.

Great flow to the music. Rock with an acoustic flair. The music is calming yet rocks also. The songs will get caught in your head.
