Multi-platinum, Grammy winners Jars of Clay have long been known as one of the premier live acts in music today, headlining their own tours, while also partnering with performers such as Sting and Sheryl Crow. Whether it's in the midst of a swirling rock recital, or the haunting simplicity of an acoustic song, Jars of Clay is at their artistic finest while connecting with a live audience.
Furthermore - From The Studio: From The Stage, includes many of Jars of Clay's greatest hits, retold in a new way for their fans. This exclusive double-disc collection features songs recorded live on the road, and live in the band's own home studio, plus three previously unreleased recordings.

Enjoyed Jars of Clay's earlier work? Than be sure to check this out. Not only does this CD contain studio mixes of early Jars classics, like an almost-coffee house mix of "Liquid" and a more wistful mix of "Love Song for a Savior," but great live versions of songs like "Worlds Apart" and "Flood." The big selling point with Furthermore, though, are the handful of new songs. Foremost among these new songs is "The Valley Song" – one of Jars' all-time best songs.

The first CD seemed bland, but the second CD was awesome! It carries most of their hits, and has some great live songs. If you're a Jars of Clay fan, don't buy this for the first CD, buy it for the second!

This collection is worth buying just for the "From The Studio" cd. It basically takes Jars hits and reinvents them. I love it.

I really like this cd. I got it from a friend and was suprised to find out that I knew almost every single song, either from the radio or elsewhere. This is a great cd that combines all of Jars greatest hits into one package. I recommend this cd for any Jars fan as well as people who have just heard a couple of their songs. The best thing by far about this cd is the mix of the studio recorded and live recorded songs!
GREAT!

The Jars have outdone themselves again with this greatest hits of sorts. They have done what every amazing christian artist should do, put all of their best work onto one or two cds. This makes a great gift to get someone addicted to Jars, or a nice addition to your existing cd collection. A definite must have!!!

Better than a "Greatest Hits"
December 8, 2004
Reviewer:

More than just a repackaging of previous hits, this double-disc set showcases Jars at their best - whether that's acoustic and intimate in the studio, or loud and live on stage.
Disc 1, "From The Studio" contains seven acoustic studio "re-versions" of your favourite Jars of Clay songs. There are also three brand new songs.
Disc 2, "From The Stage" showcases eleven live songs from their first four albums.
Great for an introduction to this amazing band, or as an addition to an almost-complete collection.
Listen out for:
Disc 1 - "The Eleventh Hour", "Dig" and "Love Song For A Savior"
Disc 2 - "Crazy Times", "The Eleventh Hour" and "Worlds Apart"
