Product Description

Thousand Foot Krutch is not limiting itself with boundaries. Instead they're pushing genre lines to mere obscurity in their musical creativity. And though their diverse style has evolved over six years to generate a sound incapable of being categorized to one genre specifically, one thing, past and present, has remained invariable: the future is looking bright for these Toronto-born three. 'Phenomenon is about the power of the unseen,? McNevan concludes. 'We hope people will catch a glimpse of that and be able to relate to the story of this record. It takes faith to believe in something you can?t see.?

Best album to date! July 15, 2004
Reviewer: Jonathan Mercier from Cornwall

Coming straight from Ontario, Canada (yay!) are rockers Thousand Foot Krutch. After selling a surprisingly high amount of copies of their second indie CD (Set It Off), Thousand Foot Krutch quickly attracted the interest of many record companies... and Tooth&Nail is the one who won them over...

After many years of wait, because of label problems and stuff, Thousand Foot Krutch bring their best - and best produced - album to date. Seeing the death of the rap-metal style, Thousand Foot Krutch had to follow the footsteps of other ex-rapmetallists (POD, Pillar, etc.) and take a more melodic, solid-rock approach... Turns out the CD is quite good (much better than POD's melodic approach with 'Payable On Death')...

Highlights from this CD include the beautiful slow song "This Is A Call", the powerful "Rawkfist", and the great rock songs "Faith, Love, and Happiness" and "Ordinary".

This band is going to be big... It is no surprise to me that Rawkfist is doing great on mainstream radio!!

Awesome CD July 30, 2004
Reviewer: Jonathan from Greensboro, NC

Thousand Foot Krutch rocks!!!!!!! Their lyrics and style rock! I first heard them on X 2003 with "Bounce" and liked that. Then I heard "Phenomenon" on christianrock.net and couldn't wait to get this cd!
They also rock in concert! Everything was awesome and they sounded so great!

Unique August 2, 2004
Reviewer: Sarah from Florida

Thousand Foot Krutch is by far one of the most unique rock groups out there today. They have a style all of their own, and I really can't even begin to compare them to anyone else. Heavy lead guitar, catchy beats, and hard vocals are some of TFKs defining features in this album.
From the opening song "Phenomenon" to the closing song "I Climb", TFK drips originality and creativity into every track. Although some songs are better than others, every song in the CD is listenable and very well crafted. You can tell the artists put special time and care into each one of their songs.
Overall, this is probably one of my most favorite CDs in my collection. I can listen to it straight through over and over again without getting bored. As long as you like hard rock, you won't be disappointed with this CD.

GREAT CHRISTIAN ROCK CD! July 19, 2004
Reviewer: from Boonville, IN

TFK brings an awesome CD with phenomenon. These ex-rap/rockers do an awesome job converting more to solid rock on this album, but they don't forget where they've came from. They do a great job mixing great guitar riffs with addressing moral dilemmas that many Christians (and non-Christians) face in this lifetime. They also show their strong faith in several songs, especially their excitement in being Christians.

This is a very good CD both musically and lyrically and it is a must have for anyone who likes Christian Rock! Throw up your Rawkfist, because you will be feelin' TFK!

Band of The Tall Folk July 29, 2004
Reviewer: Clayton from Sandwich, IL

I first heard this cd in Wisconsin working at a camp as a dishwasher. I didn't hear all the words clearly but I loved the music when I got home I went directly to ebay. The price was outrageously high so I went to musichristian.com and got a great deal with free shipping. I say this is a tall people band and it is scientifically proven.
I went to Cornerstone Festival 2004 in Bushnell, IL. It was okay. not as good as the twentieth aniversary but still fun. Anyway, I went to see Thousand Foot Krutch at one of the encore stages(yea they should have been on main). They were a little late in setting up. I'm 6'3" and I couldn't see anything on stage. For once I wasn't the tallest person in a room. It wasn't just the people in front of me. On my left, my right, behind me. Almost everyone was either 5'11" or taller. About half way through the concert all my friends ended up leaving the overcrowded tent. They are all 5'8" and shorter. I was kind of expecting it but it was really weird.
If you're tall, buy this cd. If you're short, try to be more open-minded and reach for the sky.
