GOOD CD!

POD changes their sound a lot with "Payable On Death." The album title is what the name P.O.D. stands for, which is all about Christ. This in of itself is very cool that they take this stand after all of their success with Satellite.
They rock a lot harder on this album than they ever have before, and they still keep showcasing their faith.
Highlights: Wildfire, Will You, Change The World, Find My Way, Freedom Fighters. There are many other good songs on here, but these ones are awesome!
Check this one out!

When I heard that P.O.D. were changing their lineup, I started to wonder... then I saw the Matrix Reloaded and heard "Sleeping Awake", their first song with new guitarist Jason Truby. The sound may be a little different, but P.O.D. is still P.O.D.
Heavy guitar, pounding beats, and Sonny's distinctive vocals... they're back! "Satellite" is a hard act to follow, but this succeeds in my opinion. I love every part: the heavy songs ("Will You"), the more melodic songs ("Find My Way"), and the reggae-ish songs ("Execute The Sounds"). If you liked "Satellite", get a copy of "Payable On Death".
My picks: "Wildfire", "Execute The Sounds", "Revolution", "Find My Way", and the bonus track (Japan edition) "Sleeping Awake".

I have listened to POD since their cd Fundamental Elements of Southtown and have enjoyed their songs greatly. This cd is no different. I couldn't wait for it's release after hearing "Will You" on christianrock.net and when I did get the CD I couldn't get enough.

This album is one of the best that the boys have done yet. I think with each album they continue to grow and improve in different areas. Like all their other albums they have an amazing sound especially with adding Jason Truby formerly of Living Sacrifice.

I am amazed at this cd,to see a band who has been pulling out great music for 11 years, and to be improving and changing but still staying original and true to who they are, good job boys. As for the actual "Payable on death" cd,I was a bit surprised,it is indeed very different, especially to the likes of "Satellite" but after listening to it over and over,I love it more and more and more. So if you like POD,and love Jesus, this is your cd!

I am a pretty big P.O.D. fan and I really was suprised when I heard their new album. The sound is quite different than what they had done in the past. I know many people have said that they didn't like it as much, but I actually like it better. It's a very unique sound and it's just simply sweet.
