They Are Still Just As Good!!!
August 1, 2004

Most of you know that they became a Trio in 2001. I really liked them before they became a Trio myself but, their new cd really shows just how good Plus One is!!! They still have that pop sound but it sounds more like a modern pop. The songs Rock!!!! Most of the songs are more on the rock side but, some songs like, tonight, Quest of Many Trails, have more of the old Plus One sounds but with a little soft rock added. This Cd is not one of their best albums but still, if you are a Plus One Fan its worth it!!! But overall they still are just as good!!!!

This is a major Exodus!!

"Exodus" is the best release yet by Plus One. If you didn't like them in their boy band days check this out! Their sound is totally reinvented to a modern pop rock vibe. For fans of well written and performed music. The songs are interesting and original. Their cover of "Here I Am To Worship" is stunning. The album is so good I can't pick just one highlight. Though "Tonight", and "Circle" are two of my favorites. "Poor Man" is the hardest Plus One song ever. This is purely an Exodus from the early days of Plus One. I look forward to hearing them develop further their new sound and drive. With production help and guidance from Peter Furler and Jeff Frankenstein (Newsboys) a new band is emerging. One that should be taken seriously. This is one of my favorite cd's for driving through downtown traffic. Just a pure joy to listen to. Get it today!

AMAZING NEW SOUND.. AMAZING CD

I am simply amazed at how great this CD. I never have been a big Plus One fan because, well, I wasn't really into the boy-band pop sound. But this new album called Exodus is truly great. Songs like Circle and Outlaw showcase the swirling vocals and guitars which realy sound amazing. A new modern-pop/rock sound from Plus One.

A Totally New Step Forward

Forget what you know about Plus One. Forget about their first two albums which showcased slick vocals with bubblegum pop. Allow me to introduce the new Plus One. On their latest effort, "Exodus", they have lost two members, but they seem to have gained a sense of self. This project is filled with well-crafted modern pop and rock songs. The guys have found their own musical niche, reminsicent of Coldplay and other piano-based rock bands.

When most people think of +1 they think of boy band pop but their newest release Exodus is modern rock all the way. Everyone knows that in 2001 they lost members Jason Perry and Jeremy Mhire but they have also shed their boy band image and started a modern rock trio. I think this is their best release ever. You can't pick just one good song on here. There are no mid to end fillers like a lot of cds and any fans of coldplay better give this a listen.

I just listened to their new Cd for the fifth time, and everytime I do, it grows on me more and more. I was a bit surprised to hear their new sound--I remember thinking, "Is this the right plus one?" But then I heard the vocals, and I knew it was! Their rendition of "here I am to Worship" is incredible, and you can tell that they believe in what they're singing and playing throughout the CD. This is an interesting and welcome step into the more modern rock arena, and I'll be interested to see how it further evolves!

Second Chances

No longer a sappy, bubblegum boyband, Plus One have stepped it up a notch or two (or three). Their latest cd displays MUCH more artistry. It really is more sophisticated pop. I would definitely reccommend any pop fans to check them out and give them a second chance.

I was never really a Plus One HUGE fan. I heard all the other albums and learned there songs but never really liked them too much.
This album is better their style has changed from poppish to a bit more light rock maybe. I think it's good.
