in the name of love October 15, 2004

okay, what more could i ask for? u2 songs sung by my fave artists? i think this is quite possibly the greatest compilation!
you get the heart and soul of u2, with the familiar voices you love (not that bono isn't familiar...). though some of the tracks can't compare to the original, you take them for what they are. no band can be better than u2, but they can sure try!
highlights include '40' by starfield and 'one' by tait. both amazing and do justice to their originals.
and, if for nothing else, part of proceeds go to fight the aids crisis in africa. you can't lose.

Awesome CD July 22, 2004
Reviewer: Marshall Peterson from Alaska

If you are fan of U2, you will love this CD. This CD starts out with Pillar rocking Sunday Bloody Sunday and continues with the same energy until the end. This is a great CD and it supports a great cause.

Worth Buying. July 22, 2004
Reviewer: Anonymous from USA

Not only is this a great project, the cause is even greater. Covers of U2 hits by todays greatest Christian artists! What could be better? Standout tracks are "Beautiful Day" covered by Sanctus Real, "Pride(In The Name Of Love) Delirious?, and "Mysterious Ways" TobyMac. The only problem I have with it is Grits' cover of "With Or Without You" What were they thinking? Not that I don't like Grits. Overall this offers a fresh look at some timeless songs.

Love the Pillar track! December 1, 2004
Reviewer: Nigel from UK

Highlight of the album is the very first track with a crunching rendition of "Sunday Bloody Sunday". Check out the bass on the kick drum.

I also really like "With Or Without You", I think GRITS did a good job making it fresh.

Some of the tracks are perhaps a bit too similar to the original, which is a bit pointless, e.g. Pride, but this is a very strong album with top notch production.

In my top 5! August 11, 2004

This cd has every artist at their best with no exceptions! From the rockin' beat of Pillar's "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" to the soft melody of Nicole Nordeman's "Grace" there is no excuse for not adding this to your collection!

Some great remakes! February 12, 2005
Reviewer: Christopher from KC, MO

Chris Tomlin does great on "Where the Streets Have No Name." A fresh look at "With or Without You" by GRITS. Pillar and Sanctus Real fans will be very happy with their songs.

This is a group of great U2 covers that also gives you a chance to listen to some groups that you may not have introduced yourself to yet.

although u2 is not one of my favorite bands, certainly this is a cool album, since it is interpreted by artists of great quality. In addition it supports a good cause
