Best release from MercyMe up-to-date!
July 15, 2004
Reviewer:
Jonathan Mercier from Cornwall |
After listening to this CD over, and over, and over, and over again, it is clear to me that this CD is the best one that this band has released. Although there isn't any song that sounds like "I Can Only Imagine", which is arguably their most successful song to date, the overall sound of the album is much better than Almost There and Spoken For. The highlights of the CD are the songs "Where You Lead Me", "In The Blink Of An Eye", "Unaware", "Homesick" and the title track, "Undone"... Actually, I could have named almost ever song on the CD as being highlights, because I can't say there is a song that I do not like on the CD.... All in all, this CD is worth every single penny of its cost. Can we say "Album of the Year"??

I really enjoy this CD. I have just recently started listening to Christian music and it is all still new to me. I really enjoy MercyMe and the feeling I get listening to their songs. "I Can Only Imagine", is one of the best songs I have ever been moved by, but this CD has a lot of great songs on it.

Great Sound!!!

This is Mercy Me's best album to date, topping in my opinion Almost There and Spoken For. They have taken the success of the song "I Can Only Imagine", and have built upon that and have come up with a collection of songs and a sound that really take it to another level. If they continue on this track they could be one of the great sounds in Christian music for a long time to come.

There are absolutly no fillers on this CD. They guys couldn't be more humble, they absoutely know the purpose of why they are writing music. If you ever get the chance to see them live.... DO IT!!!! I can listen to this CD all the way through and not skip a "boring" track...check it out!!!

I do enjoy this album very much. But I find myself listening to their earlier albums more often. Might just be a personal preference thing, or an emotional tie to the earlier ones, who knows. But none the less, this album is VERY well made and makes for some great listening. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Indeed I am a huge MercyMe fan and I feel this album was very touching in a number of ways. The song 'Homesick' was a true blessing, but the best song in my view in this album was 'In the blink of an eye'. Great all around album as with all the other MercyMe albums.

Bart & the guys in the band, have "Outdone" themselves with "Undone's" release! Now I have all three of their albums, and in my opinion, Undone is their best yet! God's really given lead singer/songwriter Bart Millard a talent for writing the lyrics he does for the songs they sing and "Homesick" is slated to be every BIT as popular as I Can Only Imagine was, as well! My Church's Praise Band is going to do "Here With Me" as a part of its 2004 praise song line-up. First Rate job, fellas! A++++

Incredible CD

I'm a huge fan of MercyMe's Word of God Speak and Imagine. When I bought this CD, I didn't know any of the songs on it. However, it didn't take long til I was hooked and drawn in by the powerful worship songs MercyMe is capable of producing! Unaware is by far my favorite, although all of them are incredible! If you liked their previous CD's, then you will LOVE this one!!!
