This time, in their sophomore release entitled, 'Summer of Darkness', their 13 new tracks offer a faster, heavier, and catchier take on their previous self-titled effort. Recording once again with Aaron Sprinkle at The Compound in Seattle, Washington, 'Summer of Darkness' will hit stores May 4th and be followed up by a nationwide tour. A great wake me up

Demon Hunter just flat out ROCKS! I listen to it on those days I just don't want to get out of bed or to motivate me at the gym. It is definitely harder and faster than their first CD (which also rocks). If you like to rock this is a must have CD.

Hardcore Rock With Actual Singing!!!

I'm a huge hardcore rock fan, and this CD is my favorite of the genre. DH is the only hardcore band out there that actually sings! It's so awesome to hear the heavy riffs and a voice that fits the music perfectly. This CD is definitely not for the average rocker, but heavy metal enthusiasts rejoice, there is a new Christian metal king!

Summer of Darkness Sheds Light on the Music World

With music being pumped out left and right, and stardom on the mind, it seems that music from the heart is gone. But not to fear, Demon Hunter is here. This c.d. pushes the envelope with new sounds but still the same ol tasty crunch of the previous albums. (In case your too young, an album is those big black things.....No not the tires on your moms car..anyways). I've always loved heavy music with good melodic vocals. You will absolutely enjoy this. Even if you've never heard of Demon Hunter....yeah right.....you should pick this up.

This cd is the best Hardcore cd out there! I didn't expect much when I picked up this cd but man was I BLOWN AWAY! Nothing even begins to compare to the headbanging music of "Beheaded" and "Beauty through the eyes of a predator." Buy it or miss out!

This CD is sooooo different from other heavy metal it's insane!! I have never heard any band even similar to this album. Awesome Christian lyrics,awesome head for bangin', and awesome band. Buy this CD! 10 stars!

When I first ordered this album, I was basically convinced it would be "all screaming, no melody." That's actually not true. A good deal of it is "screaming"/"roaring," but there are a good deal of songs on this album that are actually very melodic as well. I also appreciate the lyrics, although I needed to have the booklet nearby so I could understand what was being said.

On a scale of one to ten, this is a 342.9843, it blows the ratings scale! Demon Hunter is amazing, if you like hard rock, this is your cd. I heard "Beauty Through the Eyes of a Predator," from a friend, and ran to get this cd, and it was so worth it. Demon Hunter likes to pound you with in your face lyrics, and then go into a almost mellow chorus, I LOVE IT! The song, "When My Heartstrings Come Undone," is the best. Great cd, great lyrics, great vocals(yes they can sing), overall it is GOLD!
