Keep The Change... worth every penny!

This is my favourite CD by ApologetiX, "that Christian parody band". It gets better with every single listen.
This album contains parodies of the Monkees ("Monkey Scheme"), Limp Bizkit ("Simp Liztik"), Eminem ("The Real Sin Savior") and great Aussie rockers 'Acca Dacca'... AC/DC to the rest of the world... ("You Booked Me All Along").
One of my favourite tracks is "Bethlehemian Rhapsody"... the story of David and Goliath set to "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. The amazing thing here is that you can find a song of the same title on ApologetiX's first album. The story is the same, but it's a new recording, and with the exception of about one line, it contains ENTIRELY NEW lyrics compared to the first version.
My other favourites are:
- The two Noah's Ark songs, "Story Of A Squirrel", a parody of "Absolutely (Story Of A Girl)" by Nine Days, and "All The Stalls Stink", a parody of "All The Small Things" by Blink 182.
- "Christmasnite", a parody of "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down, telling the story of the Magi travelling to Bethlehem.
- "Rock And Roots", a parody of "Rock And Roll" by Led Zeppelin. This song recites Luke's genealogy of Christ from Adam through to Jesus... with an asterisk in the lyric sheet giving some alternate lines depending on the listener's translation of the Bible!

This is the best ApologetiX CD IMO. Super paradies from bands such as Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and other more recent rock artists as well as oldies.

This CD was my very first exposure to ApologetiX, and I love it! I especially like "Manger", parody of "Angel" by Shaggy. Highly recommended!
