While Love and War seems contradictory, it perfectly embodies the juxtaposition of the hope and love we have for God and those around us with the difficulty and struggle that the Christian life can become. Sonically the sounds of this record more closely align with earlier BarlowGirl while still remaining true and strong with their lyrical content.
