A masterpiece July 16, 2004
Reviewer: Jayne from WI

Mark lunges into the album with the hit single "I Am The Way", followed by "Let's Go", both are catchy tunes. "He's My Son" and "When You Come Home" are tear gushers and require kleenex. "When You Give" is energetic and powerfully moving. "Fall In Love Again" is a sweet love song of a painful break-up. "Cloud Of Witnesses" is one of my favorites from the CD, as it showcases Mark's ability to tell a story. It is followed by "Learn To Let Go", a song about a father who reminisces about his child as she grew up, and then struggles with how to let her go and make her way into the world. "I Saw The Light" picks up the pace of the CD as Mark charges into it, and still keeps you captivated all through "Legend Of McBride", a western tale featuring a hero called McBride. The album closes with a duet of Mark Schultz and Ginny Owens in the song "Remember Me".
This album is truly a masterpiece, and introduces us to a true story-teller.

Brilliant! November 8, 2004
Reviewer: Nigel from UK

What an unbelievably likable album. From the first few bars of the first track "I Am The Way" you're hooked. Wonderful melodies and thoughtful Christ-inspired lyrics.

I usually prefer my music guitar rather than piano-based as the many of these tracks are, but this is just excellent. One of my absolute favourites of all time.

Ready to go with Mark Schultz July 27, 2004
Reviewer: Victoria from WI

Mark Schultz reveals the power of life in his amazing debut recording. "Mark Schultz" overflows with emotions and greets the listener in a most personal way. Though all the songs are stories themselves, no two songs are alike; but they never cease to express a calling to grasp onto faith during the tragedies of life. Get ready to dance, cry, and rejoice with "Mark Schultz"!

A Masterpiece November 21, 2004
Reviewer: Heather from N. Charleston, SC

To be short and sweet, if for no other reason, buy this cd for "He's My Son." I did, and I was not sorry that I did so, because this cd is truly a masterpiece.

Great CD! March 2, 2005
Reviewer: Tucker from USA

Mark Schultz (the album) is such a great piece of Christian contemporary music! I am the Way and Let's Go are a little more upbeat, while most of the rest of the album is a little slower, especially He's my Son (a sad but touching song!) Overall, this is a really good cd!

True Talent April 18, 2005
Reviewer: Eileen from IL

Mark Schultz has one of the most amazing voices in Christian music. His wide, sweet tenor range makes his ballads like "He's my Son" heart-wrenching, and more upbeat songs like "Let's Go" really rock. And then you get to "Remember Me" - did a sweeter song ever exist? His high voice and Ginny Owens' low one create the perfect duet, and it's every bit as inspiring as the rest of the album.
