"The Moon Is Down"is Southern Florida band Further Seems Forever's first album for Tooth & Nail, and features the freshest, most beautiful American rock music you've heard in some time. After playing with Sense Field, Legends of Rodeo, and New Found Glory, FSF have written and recorded a collection of shimmering songs of smooth reflection and bent tonalities on an ocean floor of raw human need.

One of the best emotive rock CDs
August 10, 2004

Before there was Dashboard Confessionals there was Further Seems Forever. Chris Carraba was lead vocals on this CD! Beauty and Rock! what a collaboration! I love this CD from beginning to the end, very well constructed songs, its so hard to pick a favorite!

. . . but what about a message?

Chris Carraba, now the lead singer for Dashboard Confessional, was the front man on this project by Further Seems Forever. His vocals are amazing in their pitch and intensity. But just like Further Seems Forever's sophomore release ("How to Start a Fire"), this album suffers from somewhat ambiguous lyrics. Where is the Christian message? What, exactly, is the message? The music is excellent – emo rock at its best (note especially "Snowbirds and Townies"). Check the lyrics, too.
