On "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin", Franklin achieves the impossible. He has crafted an album with familiarities that will draw fans of his former multi-platinum albums, while he is sure to bring in new fans with his most diverse project yet. From urban jams such as "Brighter Day" and "He Reigns" to songs that will be classics in the near future like "Hosanna" and the powerful "Blood Song" which features guest vocals from Donnie McClurkin, Jaci Velasquez, and Crystal Lewis. Other guests which appear here include Rev. Shirley Ceasar, T.D. Jakes, and Tobymac.

I love this cd so much and about every song speaks to my heart. Especially the last track, titled "Always" the lyrics are powerful. There are also a bunch fun songs, like "Brighter Day" and "He Reigns."

This is just an amazing CD. If you're going to get a Kirk Franklin CD, this is the one to get. I bought it for the song "Brighter Day," and I may listen to that song less than any other on the CD. Not that Brighter Day isn't a great song, but this CD is chock full of touching, inspiring, and downright awesome music. From beggining to end, this CD delivers, period.

I absolutely love this man's music. He is one of the most talented TALENTED producers out. He brings gospel music to another level in a way that no one else has done before. I didn't think he could get any better than his last cd which was awesome, but the rebirth of kirk franklin is amazing. The songs were very well arranged and produced, spiritual and souful. Kirk Franklin is just brilliant. That's all I can say. There is no stopping him. He's the best!

This cd was a great recording of a great live concert. As the one of the turning point of Kirk's life played on track one, the scene was being set for the songs to flow from the stage to each audience member and better yet the cd listeners. I love the cd mostly because of the music and production; Kirk and the singers were the icing on the cake. If u are a big fan of kirk, you'll this album; it gives you the feel of being at the live recording.

This CD is awesome! Kirk goes from traditional, to hip hop, to worship then a surprise rock extra. It has really blessed my spirit no matter what mood, or problem that I face. I would encourage everyone to try it.
